If you want to enjoy jam, it is better to prepare it yourself, since fruit sweets from the store undergo intensive heat treatment, due to which all the vitamins contained in fruits or berries “die.” Strawberries become especially useless - in the form of store-bought jam, they turn into a sugar bomb, which causes exceptional harm to the body.
But strawberry jam is the most popular and favorite. A simple recipe will help you get the most out of it.

Strawberries – 2 kg
Sugar – 2 kg

Wash and dry the strawberries thoroughly, remove the stems.
Place the berries in a deep container and sprinkle them with granulated sugar.
Cover the container with the berries with gauze and leave for 6-8 hours, allowing the juice to release, which will dissolve the sugar.
Place the strawberries in juice in a saucepan with a thick bottom and place on the stove. Leave to simmer over low heat, stirring and skimming off the foam.
After boiling, boil the berries for another 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and let stand for 8-10 hours.
Place the cooled jam back on the stove and let it boil over high heat.
Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes
