A preparation such as dried apples will save you both in the bitter cold and in the hot summer, because from this product you can prepare a rich, spicy and very tasty compote, which is good both hot and cold!
An excellent addition to apples in this drink are dried fruits: raisins and dried apricots, they will make the taste of the compote brighter and the color richer. By the way, you can take others - for example, dates or prunes. Just follow the rule: apples should still predominate in apple compote. Just kidding, there are no rules, go according to your taste.
A few words about presentation. The finished compote of dried apples, raisins and dried apricots can be strained, or served with pieces of apples and other ingredients. In fact, they still taste delicious too. Another option is to strain the compote and rub the remaining ingredients through a sieve. As a result, you can get a compote with the pulp of apples and dried fruits. Such a drink will generally become a completely independent dish - an afternoon snack, for example.
Ингредиенты
Dried apples – 70 g
Raisins – 50 g
Dried apricots – 50 g
Cinnamon – 0.5 tsp.
Sugar – 1 tbsp.
Water – 2.5-3 l

1. Fill dried apples with water for 15 minutes.
2. We do the same with dried apricots.
3. And raisins.
4. Then we wash all the ingredients and place them in a pan of boiling water.
5. Cook over medium heat for 15-20 minutes.
6. This is how the components will change during the preparation of the compote.
7. Sweeten the compote to taste. I used brown sugar.
8. Season the drink with cinnamon to taste.
9. Stir and cook for another 5-10 minutes, then turn off the heat and let the compote brew and cool for at least 10 minutes.
