Salad with buckwheat sprouts is a good dish for strict days of fasting, which will provide you with calories, vitamins, and a pleasant taste.

Salad with buckwheat sprouts - let's face it, it's not a dish you'll cook every day. I mean, if there is somewhere to buy these sprouts, then, of course, everything is elementary. But if they are not on sale, then they need to be germinated for three days from green buckwheat, which is also not sold everywhere. This is a minus. Plus - the process of sprouting buckwheat is absolutely problem-free; unlike many thinner sprouts, it is not at all capricious.

I won’t tell you about the exceptional benefits of sprouts - if you are interested in this topic, then you already know everything without me. And if you, like me, are not particularly interested in it, and you are simply looking for new gastronomic sensations, then believe me, buckwheat sprouts are DELICIOUS. With a nutty and fresh vegetable note. But their taste is quite neutral. You can eat a lot of them, and you can really get full of them! This is not a seasoning, like watercress or some leek sprouts, but the main ingredient. From 100 grams of dry buckwheat you will get the number of sprouts that can actually satisfy an adult in one meal. You can make a side dish out of them, or a salad. Moreover, the salad is both salty and sweet. I just came up with a good sweet composition that is ideal for a strict fasting menu. It is oil-free, sugar-free, and there is nothing in it that has been boiled or otherwise heat-treated.

Ингредиенты

Green buckwheat - 100 g

Water - as needed

Banana - 1 pc.

Orange - 1 pc.

Carrots - 1 pc.

Raisins - 20 g

Nuts - to taste

Рецепт

1. Fill the green buckwheat with water so that it is barely covered, and place thick paper (such as kitchen napkins) soaked in water on top. Buckwheat germinates at room temperature. It needs to be checked a couple of times a day - additionally moisturize and stir, re-cover with damp paper or a cloth so that the top layer does not dry out. Seedlings will appear around the third day. Taste it - maybe you will like it already at this stage. I keep it for five days - this way, in my opinion, they are softer and sweeter. It is not customary to bring buckwheat sprouts to green leaves.

2. After germination, the seedlings should be rinsed well with cold water. Drain the water.

3. Since I want to get both juice from the orange for dressing and pulp as the main ingredient, I cut it into a thick center and two caps. I cut off the peel from the middle with a knife. By the way, I do this over a bowl so that the juice flows directly into the bowl.

4. Squeeze the juice from two orange tops.

5. I cut bananas and carrots into pucks.

6. Mix banana and raisins with orange juice and let stand for literally 5 minutes.

7. I cut the middle of the peeled orange into pucks.

8. That's all, all that remains is to mix the salad.

9. A delicious, healthy and literally sunny salad with buckwheat sprouts is ready!

10. Bon appetit!
