Today I will share with you a recipe for a simple and deliciously satisfying breakfast - an egg in bread in the oven. Just a couple of minutes of preparation, and a great healthy breakfast for the whole family is ready!

White toast bread - 4 pcs.
Chicken egg - 2 pcs.
Ham - 50 g
Hard cheese - 30 g
Salt and pepper - to taste

1. For each serving we will need 2 pieces of toast bread. I'm making two servings, so I have 4 pieces. In two of them I will cut out the pulp in the form of a square; if you want to be romantic, make holes in the bread in the shape of hearts, or please the children - cut out the pulp with some kind of cutting with an animal or a mushroom flower, in general, show your imagination.
2. Place two whole pieces of bread in a baking dish greased with vegetable oil.
3. Place a piece of thinly sliced ham or any sausage on the bread.
4. Grate the hard cheese on a medium grater and sprinkle on the sausage.
5. Place pieces of bread with holes on top, press the pieces of bread well against the cheese. During baking, the cheese will melt and prevent the egg from leaking out of the bread.
6. Carefully crack one egg into each hole.
7. Salt and pepper the eggs. Add half a cherry tomato and place the egg in the bread in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees C, for 15 minutes, or cook for a little less time - until the white turns white and the yolk is still runny.
8. The egg in the bread is ready! Serve the dish hot for breakfast.
