Chocolate fondant

Chocolate fondant (the name translates as “melting chocolate”) is a chocolate cake with a liquid center.

This French dessert is also called "chocolate lava". The recipe is absolutely simple, but special attention must be paid to the baking time of the cupcakes in the oven.

Ингредиенты

Black chocolate – 150 g

Butter – 50 g

Eggs – 2 pcs.

Sugar – 50 g

Flour – 40 g

To prepare the molds:

Cocoa powder – 2 teaspoons

Butter - 1 teaspoon

Рецепт

1. Break the dark chocolate into pieces and place in a bowl. Add butter.

2. Pour water into the pan (to a level of 2-3 cm), bring to a boil. Place the bowl of chocolate and butter on top of the saucepan so that the bottom of the bowl does not touch the surface of the water. Melt the chocolate while stirring.

3. Pour the melted chocolate into another bowl to stop the heating and let cool. Turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees.

4. Combine eggs and sugar in a bowl.

5. Beat eggs with sugar using a mixer into a fluffy light mass.

6. Add cooled melted chocolate and stir.

7. Add sifted flour.

8. Stir the chocolate dough until smooth.

9. To bake the dessert, I used portioned ceramic soufflé molds (ramekins). The height of my molds is 4 cm, diameter is 8 cm. Grease the molds with butter and sprinkle with cocoa powder.

10. Place the dough into the molds, filling them 3/4 full.

11. Bake chocolate fondants in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 8-10 minutes (I baked for exactly 8 minutes).

12. Carefully turn the finished cupcakes over the plates; they should easily fall out of the molds.

13. Serve the chocolate fondant immediately, warm.
