Pork kaurma is a delicious dish of Georgian cuisine.

I bring to your attention a recipe for an oriental dish. Kaurma is usually made from lamb, but today we will use pork tenderloin. Meat pieces are fried until golden brown, after which they are simmered in tomato sauce along with vegetables and herbs. It turns out very tasty, satisfying and spicy.

Pork kaurma is served hot as an independent dish or as an addition to side dishes. And many sources say that kaurma serves as the basis for preparing other dishes: soups, lagman and even pilaf. Next time I plan to try this option.

So, let's begin!

To prepare pork kaurma, prepare the ingredients according to the list for the recipe.

Ингредиенты

Pork tenderloin - 500 g

Onion - 2 pcs.

Salt - to taste

Tomato paste - 1 tbsp.

Garlic - 2 cloves

Vegetable oil - 3 tbsp.

Bell pepper - 0.5 pcs.

Seasoning for meat - 1 tbsp.

Parsley (cilantro) - 3 sprigs

Pomegranate seeds for serving - optional

Water - 100 ml

Рецепт

1. Clean and wash the pork tenderloin. Cut the prepared meat into medium cubes, preferably the same size.

2. Place it in a frying pan heated with vegetable oil.

3. Fry over high heat until golden brown on all sides.

4. Meanwhile, peel and cut the onion into half rings. Add to the meat and fry for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.

5. Remove seeds from bell pepper and cut into small cubes. Place pepper and tomato paste in a frying pan. Add spices and some clean filtered water to taste. Stir and simmer until the meat is soft. If you like spicier dishes, you can use hot pepper instead of bell pepper, adjusting the amount yourself.

6. Stir and simmer until the meat is soft. If necessary, water can be added.

7. 5 minutes before readiness, add crushed garlic and finely chopped herbs (parsley/cilantro) to the pan.

8. A very tasty dish of Georgian cuisine is ready.

9. Pork kaurma will be a great addition to any side dish. When serving, the meat can be sprinkled with pomegranate seeds, but this is optional.

10. Bon appetit!
