1. I cook oatmeal porridge in water with various additives, since I don’t want to add sugar, my porridge will be as dietary as possible. You can take any additives listed above. Mix the flakes with seeds, nuts, and candied fruits.

2. Transfer the rolled oats into a saucepan.

3. Pour in the required amount of water, according to your preferences, calculations are higher. I will prepare thick oatmeal porridge, so for 1 glass of oatmeal I will pour 1 glass of water. Be sure to add a pinch of salt.

4. Place the pan over high heat and let the water boil. After this, reduce the heat to low and cook the porridge for 12-15 minutes. But it’s better to taste the readiness; rolled oats also vary in cooking time. I cook oatmeal porridge without covering the pan with a lid. Remove the finished oatmeal porridge from the heat.

5. Place oatmeal porridge cooked in water on portioned plates, add fresh berries or fruits and serve for breakfast.
