Festive table for the New Year!

It's December, New Year is around the corner, so it's time to practice preparing salads with clever names for the holiday table. Who gives names to salads is a big question for me! But nevertheless, be sure to prepare the Poltava salad several times: the first - for training - now, the second - for the New Year's table, because the salad turns out very tasty!

Boil or bake carrots in advance. I always bake it wrapped in foil in the oven. By the way, if you have a steamer, you can cook carrots in it. Boil the eggs and cool. Instead of mayonnaise, you can use sour cream, but keep in mind that it tastes better with mayonnaise. You can prepare the salad by laying it out in layers on a plate, or you can build a structure like mine: cover a bowl with film, and then simply turn the bowl over onto a plate and remove the film.

I recommend putting the mayonnaise in a cornet to lubricate the layers, it will be more convenient there: the mayonnaise will not pull the food with it.

Ингредиенты

Canned saury - 240 g

Chicken egg (boiled) - 3 pcs.

Processed cheese - 100 g

Carrots - 1 pc.

Onions - 0.5 pcs.

Walnuts - 40 g

Mayonnaise - 3 tbsp.

Рецепт

1. Cut the onion into cubes and pour boiling water over it so that it does not become too bitter.

2. Mash the saury with a fork along with the liquid in which it was.

3. Place in a mold, like mine, or on a plate - whichever is more convenient for you.

4. Place onion and coarsely grated eggs on top of the fish.

5. Grease with mayonnaise.

6. Then - carrots, grated on a coarse grater, mayonnaise.

7. Grate the processed cheese on a fine grater.

8. If you cook on a plate, grease with mayonnaise and sprinkle with chopped nuts, if like me, there is no need to grease.

9. Turn the bowl over onto a plate and remove the film. You will get an even dome. Grease with mayonnaise and sprinkle with chopped nuts. Poltava salad is ready. Decorate as desired. Happy holidays!
