Burrito with minced meat

When I don’t know what to treat unexpected guests, I prepare a burrito from what I have in the house. The ground beef and bean burrito is our favorite!
I really love all sorts of quick dishes that can be prepared in 10-15 minutes and feed your family or guests without much difficulty or standing at the stove for a long time.
A burrito is an excellent dish for a snack, for breakfast, and for dinner. You can use a huge variety of fillings for it, fortunately, the Mexicans took care of this! The minced meat and bean burrito is a very filling burrito option. I usually prepare such burritos for men’s groups; I don’t put meat in women’s burritos, only beans and vegetables. Well, and of course, what would a Mexican burrito be without chili pepper - we definitely put it in, the only exception being children, they shouldn’t put pepper in their burrito. Let's prepare ingredients for a burrito with minced meat and beans. We take red beans. You can boil it in advance, or you can take it already canned, store-bought. I prefer minced pork and beef.

Minced meat - 200 g
Onions - 1 pc.
Tomato paste - 1 tsp.
Bell pepper - 1 pc.
Chili pepper - 1 pc. (optional)
Canned red beans - 150 g
Tortilla - 3 pcs.
Vegetable oil - 1 tbsp.
Salt and pepper - to taste
Parsley - 10 g
Salad leaves - for serving

1. Peel the onion and cut into half rings. Peel the bell pepper from seeds and stems and cut the pepper pulp into thin strips. You can use colorful peppers if you are preparing a holiday version of the dish or making a burrito for children.
2. Pour oil into a frying pan, heat it and fry the minced meat, breaking up the lumps of minced meat with a fork so that it becomes homogeneous.
3. Add chopped onions and chili peppers.
4. Fry the minced meat with onions and peppers over medium heat for 5-7 minutes, stirring.
5. Then add salt, pepper and tomato paste. Cook the minced meat for another 10 minutes until the minced meat is ready and all the liquid released by the minced meat and onion has evaporated.
6. Now you can assemble the burrito. Divide all the products into three servings. Preheat the tortilla in a frying pan or in the microwave. Place it on a plate or cutting board. Place fried minced meat and onions in the middle of the flatbread.
7. Drain the liquid from the canned beans and place some beans on top of the minced meat.
8. Now add the bell pepper strips and parsley.
9. Carefully wrap the burrito, you can wrap it in a napkin or foil. For children, the burrito can be wrapped in an envelope for convenience. For festive serving, you can use lettuce leaves, placing them at the very beginning, before the minced meat. We do the same with the remaining tortillas.
