Very tasty crispy flatbreads stuffed with fragrant fresh herbs and cheese.

For lovers of baking with cheese, I am sharing a recipe for a very tasty and aromatic flatbread. Flatbread is a round, flat-shaped flour product made from sour or unleavened dough. In Central Asia, such flatbreads are called bread, and today they are very often used as bread in our country. Their advantage is that they do not require much time to prepare and are baked simply and quickly. Basic products for making kefir flatbreads with cheese and herbs.

Ингредиенты

Flour - 300 g

Kefir - 250 ml

Cheese - 100 g

Sugar - 0.5 tsp.

Salt - 1 tsp.

Baking powder - 1 tsp.

Vegetable oil - 5 tbsp.

Greens (dill, parsley) - 2 sprigs

1. Add sugar and salt to slightly warm kefir at room temperature, stir well. Kefir can be slightly warmed in the microwave.

2. Grate the cheese on a fine grater and add to kefir, stir.

3. Add chopped herbs. You can choose any fresh herbs to suit your taste or replace them with dried ones.

4. Sift the flour with baking powder and add it to the kefir mixture in parts, stirring constantly. You may need a little more or less flour.

5. A lump of dough forms, to which add 1 tbsp. vegetable oil.

6. Pour a little flour onto the table, lay out the dough and knead it by folding it for about 5 minutes until it has a smooth structure. The dough turns out pleasant, soft, slightly sticky. When kneading the dough, it is advisable to lubricate your hands with vegetable oil.

7. Divide the finished dough into 6 pieces, roll each into a ball, cover with a towel and leave to rest for 10 minutes.

8. Roll out each piece of dough into a circle, the thinner the better. Culinary experts claim that you can easily read the text through properly rolled out dough. Prick the flatbread with a fork to prevent it from puffing up when frying. Fry in a frying pan heated with oil for two minutes on each side, over medium heat. Add oil one tablespoon at a time as needed.

9. It is advisable to place the finished cake on a paper towel.

10. Flatbreads can be served both hot and cold, with first and second courses.

11. Kefir flatbread with cheese and herbs turns out very tasty, with a crispy, crispy crust and soft inside. When hot, it crunches like chips.
