And the beauty of this salad is that it is at the same time juicy, light and crunchy due to the cabbage, but at the same time satisfying due to the meat component (tongue). If you replace mayonnaise with low-fat sour cream, the salad will be more dietary.
All ingredients for preparing salad with tongue and cabbage are in front of you in the photo. The tongue must be boiled and cooled in advance. In order to boil pork tongue for salad, you need to fill it with cold water, bring the water to a boil, and drain the first water. Then pour a new portion of cold water over the tongue and cook with the addition of salt, bay leaf and peppercorns for about 1.5 hours. Then pour cold water over the finished tongue, remove the hard skin from it and cool completely.

Carrots (raw) - 200 g
Green peas - 100 g
Boiled tongue (pork) - 200 g
Green onion - 20 g
Salt - a pinch
Mayonnaise - 2 tbsp.
