Lightly salted cucumbers in the microwave

If you have guests on the doorstep or need to quickly put some cold appetizer on the table, then prepare lightly salted cucumbers using the microwave. Are you surprised?!
Try it! Thanks to this technique, delicious cucumbers will be ready in 25-30 minutes and this even includes cooling time. The most important thing is not to overcook them! Therefore, every minute or two it is better to open the appliance door slightly and mix the cuttings. My microwave power is 700-800 W, but you need to rely on the power of your equipment.
Instead of parsley, you can add dill or dried herbs - it turns out even tastier.

Cucumbers - 350 g
Garlic - 2 cloves
Parsley - 4-5 g
Salt - 0.5 tsp.

1. Rinse the cucumbers in water, removing dust, dirt and thorns from their surface. Cut off the tails on both sides of the vegetables and cut them into slices no thicker than 0.5 cm. Place in a glass container with high sides or in earthenware, but without golden or silver designs. When heated, liquid will release from the slices, so be sure to use dishes with sides!
2. Add salt and stir the whole mass. If you have some free time, then leave it for 5-10 minutes - liquid will release from the slices. If not, immediately place in the microwave for 2 minutes. I cover the container with a special cap - a lid.
3. After the equipment beeps, carefully mix the cuttings in the container. If it has become slightly cooked and holds its shape perfectly, do not simmer it in the microwave anymore. If it remains a little fresh, then turn on the equipment for another 1 minute. Remember that the cuts should only become slightly softer, but not cooked!
4. Wash the parsley or dill, peel the garlic cloves and rinse too. Chop the greens and add to the cutting container.
5. Next, cut the garlic cloves into slices. Mix all this and leave for 15-20 minutes to cool. Hot cuts will “draw in” the aroma of herbs and garlic and become perfectly tasty. But do not add garlic and herbs at the beginning, otherwise they will cook and lose their aroma and taste!
6. After cooling, place lightly salted cucumbers cooked in the microwave in a salad bowl or deep plate, serve chilled with any side dish: potatoes, porridge, sauce, etc.
