For the specified amount of ingredients, I took a 350 ml mug. The dough filled the container about 3/4, but the finished cake was not much larger in volume. In addition, the finished cake turned out to be quite large for one serving, it is suitable for two. Therefore, as an option, you can bake the cake in two small cups for two servings.

To prepare a chocolate cake in the microwave without milk, we need an egg, sugar, sour cream (I used 25% fat), flour, cocoa and baking powder. To diversify the baked goods, I decided to add a filling - frozen berries, namely red currants. You can use any other, for example raspberries or strawberries, or you can use all at once, only in small quantities.

Salt - a pinch

Sugar - 2 tbsp.

Sour cream - 2 tbsp.

1. Break an egg into a bowl. Add a pinch of salt.

2. Beat with a mixer for 2-3 minutes until light and fluffy.

3. Continuing to beat, add sugar. Beat for another 7-10 minutes.

4. The mass will become even lighter, denser in consistency, and increase in volume.

5. Add sour cream and mix with a spoon until smooth. We try to mix carefully so that the eggs do not fall off.

6. Sift the flour. You will need 3 heaping tablespoons.

7. Add baking powder and sift cocoa. Mix thoroughly but carefully with a spoon.

8. The result is a smooth, homogeneous cake dough. It should be without lumps.

9. Add berries. I put red currants straight from the freezer. You can use any fresh or frozen berries. Mix.

10. Transfer the dough into a mug. It is better to lubricate its walls with a small amount of butter or vegetable oil.

11. Cook the cake without milk in the microwave at maximum speed for 5 minutes, then check the readiness with a wooden stick and, if necessary, set it for another 1 minute.

12. The cupcake is ready! It turned out quite dense, with a lot of juicy filling. I recommend eating the cake with jam and serving it with tea!
