The ideal option in summer weather is vegetable salads, but sooner or later you still want something tasty, filling and even salty. A great option to brighten up your vegetable routine is a sandwich with delicious herring butter.

Lightly salted herring – 1 pc.
Butter – 120 g
Chicken eggs – 3 pcs.

1. To prepare herring butter for sandwiches, we need to take lightly salted herring and peel it from the skin and bones. If you did not prepare the herring yourself, but bought it in a store, it may turn out to be quite salty. In this case, before cooking, you can soak the herring fillet in plain water for 20-30 minutes.
2. Take a piece of butter out of the refrigerator and leave it at room temperature until it becomes soft. In summer, 25-30 minutes is enough for this.
3. Boil several chicken eggs and peel them. You can take more eggs, then the finished butter will be even softer.
4. Place the prepared ingredients into a deep bowl: cut the soft butter, cut the herring into pieces and cut the chicken eggs into several pieces.
5. Take the blender attachment and thoroughly grind the prepared mass. Herring butter for sandwiches is ready.
6. Spread freshly prepared aromatic herring butter on a piece of Darnitsa or Borodino bread and prepare a salad of fresh vegetables. A light dinner is ready for you! Bon appetit!!!
