Chocolate gingerbread

A festive version of Lenten honey gingerbread. Add more cocoa and chocolate pieces to the dough. A simple and quick recipe for the whole family.
From the first time I made the rug, I and my family were hooked. Such a tender dough that just melts in your mouth! Delicious structure, enchanting aroma, lightness of the pie - all this is combined in a gingerbread without exaggeration. And you won’t be fooled by the simplicity of preparation. Here, on the contrary, the principle works: the simpler, the tastier.
Today I'm making a chocolate cake. A little more cocoa, plus dark chocolate pieces, and a wonderful lean chocolate pie is already on your table. This is, rather, a version of gingerbread for a holiday - an excellent alternative to a fatty cake.
So, for cooking we need the following ingredients.

Flour – 200 g
Cocoa – 2 tbsp.
Soda – 1 tsp.
Water – 200 ml
Vegetable oil – 100 ml
Sugar – 170 g
Honey – 3 tbsp.
Chocolate – 60 g

1. Chop the chocolate into small pieces using a knife or your hands.
2. In a bowl, combine the dry ingredients: sift the flour, cocoa and soda. Mix with a whisk until smooth.
3. Combine sugar, honey and water in a saucepan. Heat until the sweet ingredients dissolve in the liquid.
4. Then pour in vegetable oil. Stir until smooth.
5. Pour the liquid part into the flour component and mix with a whisk until a thin, homogeneous and viscous dough is formed.
6. Add chocolate.
7. Stir again. The dough should flow smoothly from the spoon.
8. Transfer the mass into a mold greased with vegetable oil.
9. Place in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, and bake for 30-40 minutes. Check readiness with a wooden stick.
10. Chocolate cake is ready! Cool in the pan, place on a serving dish, and decorate to taste with chocolate cream or powdered sugar. Bon appetit!
