1. Peas can be used whole or split. When using a pressure cooker, the peas do not need to be soaked in cold water. They boil perfectly to the consistency of puree. It is enough to rinse thoroughly in running water so that the water is not cloudy. The most convenient way is to place the peas in a colander and rinse with running water.

2. Pour sunflower or olive oil into the multicooker bowl. Add washed peas and a little salt.

3. Pour water. To speed up the cooking process, use hot water. Cover tightly. Start the stew/beans program. To ensure the peas are completely boiled, turn on the program for 1 hour.

4. Reset steam. Open the lid. Add a piece of butter. Stir. At first the pea porridge will be runny, but as it cools it will thicken well. You can serve pea porridge cooked in a pressure cooker with meat gravy, fried onions, and bacon.
