The dish is hearty, incredibly tasty and aromatic! This treat is perfect for a family lunch or dinner, as well as on a holiday table. Try it, and I’m sure that baked potatoes with bacon will become one of your favorites.

Ингредиенты

Potatoes (medium) - 12 pcs.

Boiled-smoked bacon (brisket) - 300 g (12 strips)

Salt - to taste

Dried spices - to taste

Vegetable oil - 0.5 tbsp. spoons

1. For this dish, it is advisable to choose small potatoes that cook quickly. Peel the potatoes, cut them in half or leave them whole. Add spices (I added dried herbs: parsley, dill and green basil). If you are using raw, not boiled, smoked bacon, add salt. Mix everything well.

2. Wrap each potato in a strip of bacon.

3. Place a baking sleeve on a baking sheet, grease the inside with vegetable oil, and secure one edge. Place the bacon-wrapped potatoes in the sleeve, seam side down. Fasten the other edge of the sleeve. If there are no holes in the sleeve, you need to make several punctures to allow steam to escape. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Bake the potatoes in the oven for 45-60 minutes (I baked the potatoes for 1 hour). Remove the potatoes from the oven, do not open the sleeve and leave for 10 minutes - let the potatoes rest. Then place on a plate. If you are not sure whether the potatoes are ready, then open the sleeve, only carefully so as not to get burned by the steam, and check the readiness of the potatoes with a toothpick: if they are raw, put them in the oven to finish baking.

4. Place bacon-wrapped potatoes on a platter and serve. Bon appetit!
