An easy to prepare, satisfying and delicious family lunch or dinner - potato casserole with minced meat.

To prepare a casserole of potatoes and minced meat, prepare the ingredients according to the list. Peel the potatoes, wash them together with the onions, and dry them.

Potatoes - 700 g

Minced pork and beef - 400 g

Hard cheese - 80 g

Green onions - 3-4 pcs. (taste)

Eggs - 1-2 pcs.

Sour cream (optional) - 1-2 tbsp. spoons

Salt - to taste

Ground black pepper - to taste

Vegetable oil or butter - for greasing the pan

1. Grate the potatoes on a coarse grater; squeeze out the resulting liquid.

2. Place half the potatoes in a greased baking dish.

3. Place minced meat on potatoes, salt and pepper to taste.

4. Chop the green onions. Sprinkle the minced meat with onions.

5. Grate the cheese on a coarse grater. Mix the cheese with the second half of the grated potatoes, add an egg (or two). Stir, add a little pepper and salt.

6. If desired, you can add sour cream, this will only benefit the taste of the finished potato casserole with meat.

7. Place potatoes and cheese on a layer of minced meat, smooth with a spoon.

8. Cook a casserole of potatoes and minced meat in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 1 hour. Serve the finished potato casserole with minced meat immediately after cooking. To add spiciness, you can serve with mustard.
