Buckwheat porridge can be cooked in water or milk, in sweet and unsweetened versions. In this recipe I will cook buckwheat porridge with milk in a slow cooker. But I don’t like porridge with milk alone; it takes a long time to cook, and it’s only suitable for sweet serving, with sugar and milk. But if you dilute the milk with water, you get a delicious crumbly porridge, which can be served as a side dish or offered for dessert, for example, with sugar or honey. You can also definitely cook buckwheat porridge on the stove.

So, prepare buckwheat, water, milk, butter, salt. Rinse the cereal, pour it into a multicooker saucepan.

Or cook the buckwheat porridge on the stove over very, very low heat after the liquid boils, until all the liquid is absorbed and evaporated and the porridge is crumbly and completely cooked.
