Potatoes and duck baked in foil in the oven are a real festive dish for dinner.
Potatoes with duck in foil in the oven turn out very juicy and very tasty! The meat is stewed in its own juices and literally removed from the bone. However, you should remember that potatoes are added only after baking the duck meat, otherwise you will end up with potato porridge and the duck meat will be tough - these products have different cooking time intervals.
If the duck skin is poorly processed or you do not like this product, then without a twinge of conscience, cut it off with a sharp knife and boil broth from the skin, which will be used when baking the bird. Use by-products: heart, liver, stomach, etc. Red meat is prepared at the rate of 1 kg of meat - 1 hour in the oven.
So, let's take all the necessary ingredients to prepare potatoes with duck in foil in the oven and start cooking!

Duck - 0.5 pcs.
Potatoes - 5-6 pcs.
Broth - 1 glass
Salt - 0.5 tsp.
Ground paprika - 3 pinches
Ground black pepper - 2 pinches

1. Wash the duck meat, remove the films from it and place it in a foil container. I recommend using containers like these because you can pour the broth into them. Without broth, duck meat and potatoes will not turn out so juicy and tasty. Let's add some salt and pepper.
2. Pour in the prepared broth.
3. Cover the container with a lid, carefully clamping it on all sides. Let's leave only a small gap so that steam can escape, and place in the oven at 220 C for 40-50 minutes.
4. After the specified time, remove the container and open it slightly, being careful not to get burned by the steam. Duck meat in its own juice will be ready!
5. Peel and wash the potato tubers, cut into slices and add to the container with the duck meat, trying to “drown” the potatoes in the broth - then it will absorb it and become juicy and crumbly. Sprinkle with salt and ground paprika.
6. Place in the preheated oven and bake for another 30 minutes, covering the top with foil. 10 minutes before it’s ready, open the foil and let the dish brown.
7. Place potatoes on a plate and baked duck meat on it. Immediately serve the potatoes and duck baked in foil to the table before the dish cools down.
