Today we will prepare a healthy and very simple option for breakfast or a snack - chia pudding. Cooking with chia seeds may seem intimidating, but they are actually very easy to whip up.
Not only are chia seeds healthy, but when mixed with milk and chilled, they turn into the most delicious creamy pudding that only takes 5 minutes to make.
Your refrigerator does all the work for you. Take it out in the morning, add your favorite toppings and enjoy a healthy breakfast, an invigorating snack or the simplest dessert.
Ингредиенты
Chia seeds - ¼ tbsp.
Almond / coconut or any other milk of your choice - 1 tbsp.
Maple syrup / honey - 2 tsp
Vanilla extract - 1 tsp
Or vanillin - a pinch
Salt - a pinch
Sliced fruit/muesli/jam or nuts, for serving
Рецепт
1. In a medium bowl, combine chia seeds, milk, sweetener of your choice, vanilla (if using), and salt.
2. Cover and refrigerate until thickened, 2 hours to overnight.
3. Serve with fruit and toppings of your choice.
